Dr. Thompson received his Bachelor's Degree from Saint Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota and his medical doctorate from New York Medical College. He is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. He has held positions in independent clinical practice with Silverman and Associates, Hampstead Hospital, Hampstead, New Hampshire. He completed a followship in adolescent psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and his psychiatric residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, Vermont. He is a member of the New Hampshire Psychiatric Society and the American Psychiatric Association.
